Quote about giving 100%

If you are going to do it, you might as will give 100%

"I don't do many things. But if I do
one, I do it well. I don't give half.
I don't like not to be perfect."

Quotes about the Washington Wizards

I have NO intentions of leaving San Diego... says LT

"I have been getting a lot of messages on my site regarding me leaving San Diego. I feel that I need to make it very clear that I have NO intentions of leaving San Diego. San Diego is where my career started and where I’d like it to end. I have nothing but love and the up most respect for this team, the players, and the Spanos Family. Me being traded is completely out of my hands. I have ABSOLUTELY no control in that decision making. All I can do is wait and see how it all plays out. As for now, I am a Charger and will be until I am told otherwise …"
~LaDainian Tomlinson (RB of the San Diego Chargers)

Quotes made Famous by Reggie White

Here are some quotes that I enjoyed from the Minister of Defense as Reggie White was nicknamed by his teammates...Reggie White was a 13 time Pro Bowl player, Superbowl champion, defensive player of year and was enshrined into the NFL's Hall of Fame in 2006, 2 years after his death on the first ballot. Big #92, played with 4 Professional Football teams, the Memphis Showboats{USFL} (1984-1985), Philadelphia Eagles (1985-1992), Green Bay Packers (1993-1998) and the Carolina Panthers (2000) and had his jersey retired by 3 teams University of Tennessee, Philadelphia Eagles and the Green bay Packers... at the time of his retirement, #92 was the all-time sack leader in the NFL.

Reggie White said...

  • God places the heaviest burden on those who can carry its weight.

  • Homosexuality is a decision, it's not a race. People from all ethnic backgrounds live in this lifestyle. But people from all different ethnic backgrounds also are liars and cheaters and malicious and back-stabbing.

  • But the Bible speaks against it, and because the Bible speaks against it, we allow rampant sin including homosexuality and lying, and to me lying is just as bad as homosexuality, and we've allowed this sin to run rampant in our nation.

  • The thing I'm having a hard time with are the Christians who will stab you in the back in a wink.

  • It'll be a learning year. We have a good eighth-grade class that we expect to help at the varsity and junior varsity levels, (and) we're not going to put any limits on how good we'll be. We'll score by committee. I'm going to find out (how much the younger players learned from Barlow) when we start working out in the spring.

  • I've often had people ask me, would you allow a homosexual to be your friend. Yes, I will. And the reason I will is because I know that that person has problems, and if I can minister to those problems, I will.

  • I have a lot of respect for tough coaches.

  • He's the best young quarterback{Brett Favre} I've seen.

  • People who call Reggie White a bigot and homophobic, beware, because you're calling God himself a bigot and homophobic.

  • Let me explain something when I'm talking about sin, and I'm talking about all sin. One of the biggest ones that has been talked about that has really become a debate in America is homosexuality.

  • I'm offended that homosexuals will say that homosexuals deserve rights. Any man in America deserves rights, but homosexuals are trying to compare their plight with the plight of black men or black people. In the process of history, homosexuals have never been castrated, millions of them never died.

  • As America has permitted homosexuality to establish itself as an alternative lifestyle, it is also reeling from the frightening spread of sexually transmitted disease. Sin begets its own consequence, both on individuals and nations.

  • When you look at the black race, black people are very gifted in what we call worship and celebration. A lot of us like to dance, and if you go to black churches, you see people jumping up and down, because they really get into it.

White people were blessed with the gift of structure and organization. You guys do a good job of building businesses and things of that nature and you know how to tap into money pretty much better than a lot of people do around the world.

Hispanics are gifted in family structure. You can see a Hispanic person and they can put 20 or 30 people in one home. They were gifted in the family structure.

When you look at the Asians, the Asian are very gifted in creation, creativity and inventions. If you go to Japan or any Asian country, they can turn a television into a watch. They're very creative. And you look at the Indians, they have been very gifted in the spirituality.
